Eddie R. Romero was born in Los Pinos New Mexico.
He came from a large loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ubaldo and Celina Romero; and brothers , Alfonso, Rudy and Walter Romero.
Eddie had a successful career with Walgreens and after he retired, he worked for the City of Albuquerque, Parks and Recreation Department, doing what he loved, landscaping. Eddie was known in his neighborhood for his beautifully manicured yard.
Eddie died peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Eddie will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his kindness, generosity and warm smile.
He is survived by his son, Troy Romero and wife Tori; daughter, Tara Romero; grandchildren, Ross Valdez-Romero and Isabella Romero; and many siblings, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks for the loving care and support of the staff at High Desert Hospice, especially Diana Heras RN Case Manager who made it possible to care for our dad at home.
We will miss you dad.
