Beyond his career and education, Edgar possessed a zest for life that extended into various hobbies. Airplanes held a special place in his heart—his love for them was unmatched. He enjoyed working on his Thunderbird (T-Bird), always with the spirit of a true mechanic wanting to fix everything he got his hands on. Known as a "ham & Egger," he always pursued challenges as they arose. He found joy in working on anything with an engine while doing yardwork.
