Edith Mathews Odom, 92, of Crawford, AL died in the comfort of her daughters' home in Opelika, AL on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Mrs. Odom was born June 6, 1931 in Opp, AL daughter of the late William Horace Mathews, Sr. and Alma Lee Peavy Mathews. She was an active member of Faith Temple Assembly of God worshiping regularly with family and friends. For years she served others through the Food Bank at the church, receiving great joy in return. Always seeking to serve others, she loved her family and finding ways to serve and help them also. During her working career, she was a spinner at Bibb Mills for over 40 years. The example she has set for us and those she knew will continue to bless others and glorify God.
