Thursday, April 20, 2023, at age 81. Predeceased by his wife, Virginia (Sabido) Sarney; parents, George and Kathleen Sarney; brother, George Sarney. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Curcio) Sarney; children, Mark (Wendy) Sarney of MD, Matthew (Lorissa) Sarney of NC, Kathleen Withrow; Linda's children, Anthony Crowley, Amy Bernabei, Diane Stoner; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Ann (Luke) Albrecht of Perrysburgh, NY, Marilyn Sarney of Fredonia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Diana Curcio, Joanne and Raymond Tranella; many nieces and nephews. Edmund was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a retiree of Eastman Kodak.
No prior calling. Services and interment were private. Those wishing, donations may be directed to NYS Veteran's Home, 220 Richmond Ave., Batavia, NY 14020 in his memory.
