Edmundo "Eddie" Trevino, 71, fell asleep in death after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2025 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, with Elder Mike Moreno, officiating.
Eddie was born December 2, 1953 in San Angelo to Ezequiel and Gregoria Perez Trevino. He was a life long resident of San Angelo and worked for SAISD as a bus driver for many years, retiring in 2018. Eddie was a man who loved western things so much that he would watch western movies every chance he had and even named his dog "Cowboy." He was a lover of nature and animals. Eddie talked about the future promise of a paradise under God's Kingdom to have found at Matthew 6:9,10. He wants a ranch with many animals to take care of and land, while being able to share a star filled sky with the love of his life, Molly, who he shared 5 amazing years with. They met later in life and fell in love over the united search for toilet paper during Covid. Eddie, if I could tell you anything, what I would say is: "To say you completed me is an understatement. You're like a fire that never stops burning. You answered quickly, with an honest look, laughter, and love. You were very determined to give Jehovah your best sacrifices to the end. Thank you for always being there without hesitation. Where you used to be, there is a hole in my heart. You continue to inspire me. I hear you telling me to "keep smiling." Eddie was never one to complain. Life was so precious to him, and it was evident in the way he raised his four children and the love they showed to him when they traveled to be by his side in life and at the very end. You were known to be the real thing! "Genuine." And as Jesus said about Nathaniel, he was a man "in whom there is no deceit." (John 1:47)
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Molly Trevino; one daughter, Jennifer Savage and husband Brian of Michigan; three sons, Edmundo Trevino, Jr., Kirk Trevino both of Michigan and Eric Trevino and wife Vivian of Midland; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Elodia Cain and husband John; and one brother, Ezequiel Trevino, Jr.
