Edna McGrath Obituary
Mrs. Edna Bull McGrath, 67, Sloansville, NY, passed away at her home on July 16, 2024, following a short illness.
Edna was born in Stoney Point, NY, on January 19, 1957, the daughter of Douglas L. Bull and Kathleen Rose Bull, who predeceased her.
She was a graduate of Clarkstown High School.
For the past 38 years, she has lived in the local area. Before that, she lived in Congers, NY.
She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, sewing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On June 27, 1981, in Congers, NY, she married John McGrath.
Survivors include her husband, John McGrath, Jr., with whom she spent the last 55 years; her two sons, John McGrath, III and his fiance Sarah Borchert and Ryan McGrath and his fiance Brooke Allen; grandchildren Landon, Jackson, and Cash; sister Sally and her husband Tim Ingersoll; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As per her wishes, there will be no services. Arrangments for cremation are entrusted to Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.

I am so sorry and sad to hear about this. Edna (Binky to so many of us Congers kids) was such a kind soul - she always stuck up for me when my older siblings picked on me. Always a smile and kind word . Sending my thoughts to all of the family.
