Edsel Ford, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, died on November 30, 2023, at the age of 90. He brought a strength to this world that will be forever missed.

Edsel was born on April 25, 1933, in Wake,TX,to Edith and Cecil Ford. When he was 18 years old, he met the love of his life, Minnie Lee Anderson, and married on October 12, 1951. They celebrated 61 years of marriage together until Minnie’s passing in March 2013.
He was a craftsman who enjoyed building, fixing, and working with his hands. Edsel loved watching sports, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He led prayer before every family meal, had a smile and a laugh that could warm you, and gave you a feeling of security whenever you were in his presence.
His Family was his greatest joy, and he gave them a loving, secure home – which was the center of years of large family gatherings, celebrations, and touching moments.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Ford; son, Dewayne; parents, Cecil and Edith Ford
, and 5 siblings.
Edsel is survived by his 3 daughters Deborah Oden, Diane Clower, and Donna Hardin; grandchildren Joel, Jacob, Britney, Kristen, James, Taylor, Zach, and Eric; and great grandchildren Jaden, Abbey, Cadence, Maddi, Tate, and Minnie.
