It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Eduardo (Eddie) Sendejo after a courageous battle with cancer, he departed from us on Monday, October 30, 2023. Eddie was born in Tulia, Texas on June 13, 1962, to Mr. and Mrs. Fortino Sendejo.
He had a passion for BBQing, fishing, and watching the boxing matches of his favorite, Canelo. Eddie had a special bond with his son, and their time at the Frio River was filled with cherished moments of love and laughter. He was a devoted family man who found joy in spoiling his nieces and nephews and lending a helping hand to those in need. He will always be remembered as a great husband, father, son, and brother. He will be profoundly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father Fortino R. Sendejo; brothers, Tony Sendejo and Rick Sendejo.
Among those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Angie Garcia-Sendejo; son, Eduardo Jr. (Mandy) Sendejo; mother, Maria Sendejo; siblings, Cynthia S. Casey, Chrysti (Chris) Budd, Jacob (Sandra) Sendejo, Rebecca Sendejo, and Criselda (Eugene) Gonzalez; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive condolences from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
