Edward R Allan, a dedicated individual known for his roles as the manager of Sunset Sporting Center, later transformed into Herman's, and for his crucial contributions at Barnes Aerospace, has passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. He was born on October 26, 1940, in Provo, Utah, and breathed his last breath in Clinton, Utah.
 

Edward was a man of many talents and interests. Graduating Springville High School marked the beginning of an illustrious journey filled with accomplishments that ranged from perfecting various hobbies to becoming a master at tying flies. His love for fishing and hunting not only shaped his leisure activities but also brought joy to

those around him who shared these passions.


In his personal life, Edward was cherished by many. He is survived by a loving family, his sons: Bart, Lee, Jay, Lance, Brent, and T.J.; daughters: Michele, Johannah, and Delta; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister April. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane, daughter, Heather, grandson, Johnathan, parents Leland and Margaret Clark Allan and two brothers.


A visitation to honor Edward's life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 9:45 to 10:45  a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Following the visitation, a Funeral Service will take place at the same location at 11 a.m.
 
Edward R Allan's legacy will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched. His kindness, dedication, and zest for life will continue to inspire all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a profound impact during his time on this earth.
