Edward Armbrust Obituary

Edward C. Armbrust of Endicott, 84, went to be with our Lord, Jesus, at Willow Point Nursing Home due to a lengthy illness on Thursday, March 12th, 2026. He was born in Scranton, PA, predeceased by his parents, Edward and Alice Armbrust. Edward was also predeceased by his two brothers, Chester Armbrust and Robert Armbrust, and a sister, Josephine Dowse and brother-in-law, George Dowse.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marilyn Armbrust, and loving daughter, Susan Armbrust of Endicott. He is survived by sisters-in-law, Jeannie Cecci, Carol Leo, Peggy (Paul) Carey, and Lorraine Granko (Sammy), all of Pennsylvania and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eddie graduated from West Scranton High School where he was a gifted swimmer. Immediately following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He had great pride for his 4 years of service with the United State Navy. After honorable discharge, he began his career with IBM Glendale as a customer engineer and technical writer. He retired after 30 years of service.
Eddie was a loving husband, father, uncle, and friend. He was very kind, had a great sense of humor, and was talented in building and fixing different things. He enjoyed music, watching movies and his favorite TV shows, football and documentaries.
Ed will be greatly missed. Rest in eternal peace, Dad.
Burial is at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. Private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Expressions of sympathy in Ed's memory will be to Broome County Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave, Binghamton, NY 13903.
