Born on October 15, 1951 in Plattsburgh, NY he was the son of Peter F. and Leona F. (Brooks) Ashline.
He was married Denise A. Boucher on September 5, 1981 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She predeceased him on May 30, 2016.
He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in June 1970 and was honorably discharged as a Gunnery Sergeant in September 1992. He graduated from Lyon Mountain High School.
Edward is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Desirae Ashline of North Ridgeville, OH; a grandson, Robert Ashline of North Ridgeville, OH; two sisters and a brother, Bernadette Wright of Indian Rocks, FL, Charles Ashline of Canton, NY and Melinda Skiff of Holiday, FL; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Cheryl Kalinowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain at a later date.
Burial will be held in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Lyon Mountain.
