Edward Allen Beale, 59, of Calvin, Illinois, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. He was born on April 11, 1964, in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Edward Lester and Delma Eileen (Hammer) Beale. Ed married Traci Hope Treadway on October 6, 1984. He graduated from West Aurora High School in 1982. Ed worked as a forklift driver for General Mills until he retired in 2016. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed restoring engines and cars, home renovating, being a gunsmith and was a PaintBall National Champion. Most of all, Ed enjoyed spending time with his family.
Ed is survived by his wife, Traci Beale of Calvin, IL; his parents, Edward Beale of Aurora, IL. and Delma Suttle of Wonder Lake, IL; his children, Mia (Blake) Mellecker of Somonauk, IL, Emma (Dean) Trajce of Carmi, IL. and Justin (Lisa Tomes) Beale of Rockford, IL; three grandchildren, Milo Edison Mellecker, Tristan Trajce, and Blaire Kaci Mellecker. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Conrad and Brenda Treadway; and his grandparents, Russell and Wilma Hammer.
A memorial service for Edward Beale will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ed's memory to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.

I counted Ed as a friend. He was indeed quite the mechanic and craftsman. Praying for his family at this time.
