Edward Van Bert Parker X, age 52, of Lexington, KY passed away on August 2, 2025 He was born on June 15, 1973, in Frederick, Maryland, to the late Judy L. Parker and Charles W. Parker and Charles W. Park. Edward was preceded in death by his daughter Injil Ali, his parents, Grandparents Zenobia Jestina Sneed, Charles Brown,Annabelle Parker. Edward made his home in Lexington, where he was known for his steadfast stubbornness, unwavering determination, and fearless heart that faced life without hesitation. His warmth, strength, and presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Edward was a proud graduate of Henry Clay High School and a devoted father, grandfather,and son. He is survived by his children; Genevieve Parker, Daija Parker, Kenya Ali, Na'Zyia Ali, and his stepson, Jamar Williams. He was a beloved grandfather to elvelen grandchildren: Demi, Sebastian, Gia, Kairo, Gianna, Penelope, Tru, Cali, Xavier, Kaleo,and Cordero. He is also survived by his former wife, Shannon Williams. At the age of 18 Edward embraced the teaching of the Nation of Islam, an path that would shape his worldview and guide his life with a strong sense of purpse. His faith was a cornerstone of his character, and he found strength in his beliefs, always seeking to live with integrity, compassion, and respect for all. Siblings- Alison Bowie Felton, Karla Bowie Bell; Gerald Bowie (LaDeitra) Tanya Parker; Ninya Parker-Mason; Dana Bowie (Kimberly) Evans; Charles Parker (Chico), Dora Burgess (Linwood), Heath Bowie, Bert Van Edward Parker (Stephanie). Honorable Uncle's Bert Van Edward Parker Sr.(Nettie), Ronnie Parker, Phillip Sneed, Isaac Sneed, Eli Sneed and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews. Islamic Burial Services will be held Saturday August 9, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Muslim Cemetery of Central KY 3427 Georgetown Rd Lexington, KY 40511
