Edward William Bores A Hole was born on April 22, 1952 in Pine Ridge, SD to Winfred Bores A Hole and Irene Warrior. Edward made his journey to the Spirit World on June 1, 2023 at the Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home in White Clay, NE.
Edward is survived by his sister, Linda Bores A Hole; uncle, Pedro Sharpfish; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Winfred Bores A Hole and Irene Warrior; spouse, Christine Mesteth; paternal grandparents, Willie Bores a Hole and Isabelle Pretty Cloud; maternal grandparents, Fargo Warrior and Stella (Spider Backbone) Warrior; brothers, Floyd Bores A Hole, Willard Bores A Hole, and Dale Red Bow; and sister, Marilyn Bores A Hole.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Bores A Hole, Tino Yellow Horse, Denato Two Bulls, Earl Bores A Hole, Vernon Short Bull, Monte Eagle Louse, and Wayne Not Help Him. Alternate pallbearers will be Boss Bores A Hole and Billy Bores A Hole.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 4:30 PM, Monday, June 19, 2023 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD
Funeral Services: 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD
Officiating: Deacon William "Bill" White and Father Brad Held, S.J.
Burial Services: No Water Family Cemetery, near #6 Community, Oglala, SD
