He was born to the late Edward C. Burlew Sr. and Thelma C. (Mender) Burlew.
For many years Edward worked as a plumber for the Local Union #9 of Manalapan.
He is survived by his beloved wife Nadine Burlew; his loving son Ryan Burlew and his wife Christine of Brielle; his brother Brian Burlew and his partner Melissa Bohl of Point Pleasant; his two cherished grandchildren Savannah Burlew and Bryce Burlew; and his loving nieces and nephews Erika Signorile and Kristen Signorile, Shaunna Burlew and Jack Burlew, Ginger Burlew, and Tyler Bohl.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 7, 2025 from 2:00PM-5:00PM at Day Funeral Home located at 361 Maple Pl. Keyport, NJ 07735

Eddie was a big teddy bear under all that armor that he put on. Some people just couldn´t get through it but Ed always had the best intentions, his plan just didn´t work out all the time . If there was anyone that I had to pick to have my back it would´ve been Eddie , I loved him like a brother... R.I.P

Eddy was the first guy I was ever paired up with... he was rough around the edges but he looked out and took care of me getting me school pay early vouching on my character and work ethic. Great man who I will miss dearly. Rest is peace eddy thanks for everything you did for me

Ed, you were one of a kind. Even though we´ve only know each other 10 or so years, I considered you a close friend. You treated me as one as well. You always offered your help when you could, without me having to ask. You convinced me to start my own business when I had doubts about it, and I will never forget the push you gave me to do so. I will love you forever brother, and there will always be a place in my heart for you, and you know that.
