Ed wrote a "book'" on the Calder history that I learned and enjoyed very much. He knew more about my family history than I did. I always enjoyed seeing Ed when he came into my store. Thanks to him and his family for making me smile thinking about the antics he and his brothers got into. Tim Calder

My nemesis Ed (Eddie) Palmer and I had trhe pleasure of living next to Ed Calder for 26 years. He was a great man always glad to see me and my family. Ed gave me my first lawn cutting job. I was paid $3 each time I cut the grass. He was always interested in my life and career architecture and telling me about a the world's greatest architect Frank Lloyd Wright and how I would be good at my career. He will be missed by many. So sorry to hear of his passing. Ed Palmer from Neenah

My deepest sympathies in losing Eddie. My dad (late Clayton Gardinier) and I had the privilege of working with him at American Can`s Menasha Plant. He was such a nice gentleman, quiet and reserved but with a good sense of humor, like the time he would hide a fellow worker`s candy stash a few times. I was told he was also quite the sports trivia nut. God bless you and cherish your wonderful memories.

My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. Psalms 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And of because of special mightiness they are 80 years. Very special indeed!*
