Edward W. "Little Eddie" Cameron Jr.

Edward W. Cameron, Jr., age 70, of Cresskill, passed away with family at his bedside on February 17, 2026.

Loving father of Katharine "Katie" Cameron, dear brother of Kevin Cameron and his wife Gina as well as an Uncle to Dennis, Jessica and Julie. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Cameron, and his sister, Doreen Cameron.

Ed started working at UniLever in Edgewater NJ and moved to Maher Terminals in Elizabeth NJ before enjoying retirement.

Known to his family as "Little Eddie" he loved and appreciated the little things in life. Whether it was landscaping on his property, tinkering in his garage or keeping current with the news, he knew how to spend and enjoy his day. Ed was extremely proud of his Hudson County roots and kept in touch with many of his childhood friends. He loved the beach and his town pool in Cresskill and had a tan year round. But what he loved the most was spending time with friends and family. Whether it was a small weekend barbeque or a large family gathering you would always get the same reaction the following day…"That was a real nice time yesterday". He was a real people person and enjoyed telling stories of his past experiences. Through his many health related setbacks he never complained and was a true survivor. May we all show the strength and resolve he did through his life and may we all learn to appreciate the little things in life…just like he did.

Visitation Friday, February 20, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Funeral Mass Saturday, February 21, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church, 120 Monroe Avenue, Cresskill. Cremation is private.
