Edward J. Curry, known affectionately as Eddie to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at his home in Pine Hill, New Jersey, on March 26, 2025. Born on August 15, 1961, in Orlando, to the late Philip J. and Doris Curry. He grew up in Marlton, before eventually settling in Pine Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Alvin Ferguson and Chester Ferguson. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his siblings, Larry Ferguson (Susan), Craig Ferguson (Carol), Vivian Kershaw (Bill), Andrew Curry (Cheryl), and Philip Curry (Ramona). Eddie's legacy also lives on through the many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A proud graduate of Cherokee High School, Eddie's academic journey laid the foundation for a diverse and fulfilling career. He began his professional life as a bank teller, and then compassionate nature led him to supervising at a group home, where he made a significant impact on the lives of many. His career path eventually took him into the field of information technology, where he worked for a pharmaceutical company.
Eddie was an avid reader, with an insatiable curiosity that led him to explore a vast array of topics. A movie buff at heart, Eddie enjoyed going to the movies, where he reveled in the magic of storytelling on the big screen. His enthusiasm for films was infectious, and he was always ready to discuss the latest releases or classic cinema with friends and family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
