Obituary for Ed “Bubba” Daniels
Ed “Bubba” Daniels, 70, of West Chazy, NY, passed away on March 6, 2026. He was born in Plattsburgh on June 16, 1955 the son of Robert "Bobby" Daniels and Nola Bouyea, and step son to Roland "Bud" Jarrett. Ed was an avid fisherman who found great peace and joy spending time on the water. He will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. Bubba shared a special bond with his close friend Judy Moller and was a guiding and caring presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren, whom he lovingly raised and cared for as his own.
He leaves behind his close friend Judy Moller and her four children: Jonathan and wife Lisa Kriplin, Sarah Kriplin and her partner Ryan Shampine, Randy Moller, and Krissa O’Donnell.
Bubba was also a proud and loving grandfather figure to many grandchildren: Evan, Blake, Ethan, Jordan, Lola, Grahm, Emma, Elaine, Kaylee, Kasey, Reilly, Kyler, Aaliyah, and Jayla. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he cherished the time he spent with them.
He is also survived by his siblings: Gayle and her husband Paul Deyo; Arlene Daniels; Danny Daniels and his wife Laurie; Reggie Daniels and his partner Debbie; Scott Daniels and his wife Jen; and Lisa Simpson and her husband Bob Simpson.
He is further survived by many nieces and nephews including Paul Deyo and his wife Rachel, Trevor Deyo and his wife Katlyn Tatreault; Jason Lashway, Skye Lashway and partner Trevor St. Clair; Jeremey Daniels and his wife Jennifer, Justin Bushey and his wife Carrie Ann; JR Daniels, Nick Daniels, Zach Daniels and his partner Kayla Menard, and Heidi Tedford and her husband Mike; and Dilion Daniels; Boone Deyo, Edward Deyo and Brent Deyo, and a special friend Christol Mastic.
He was predeceased by his father Robert "Bobby" Daniels, his mother and step father; Nola Jarrett and Bud, and siblings; Karla Deyo and Christopher Daniels, and his grandparents; Edward and Eliza Bouyea.
Ed “Bubba” Daniels will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His generosity, warmth, and the care he showed to those around him will be remembered always.
No services or calling hours will be held to the public.
