Edward Divine Obituary
Edward "Wayne" Divine, age 78, of Lockwood, Missouri passed away December 2, 2024, at Truman Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lamar, MO.
Wayne was born January 7, 1946 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Howard and Rosalie (Taft) Divine. He graduated from Lockwood High School.
After graduation, Wayne worked on the family dairy farm, from there he went to work at O'Sullivans, he then went to work for the railroad but ended up owning his own tree service business until he retired. In his younger days, Wayne had a passion for nice, fast cars but as he grew older, he was the happiest when he had a chainsaw in his hand.
Wayne is survived by two brothers, John Divine of Golden City and Larry (Christy) Divine of Lockwood; one son, Broc (Rachelle) Divine; three grandchildren, Ramsey Divine, Cooper Divine and Nora Divine; and one nephew, J.D. Divine.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Connie Brown.
A graveside service will be he held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 6, 2024 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lockwood, Missouri.
