Edward Ronald Ferus

Edward Ronald Ferus, age 84 of Millville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.

He was born in Millville to the late Edward and Doris (Berry) Ferus. Edward graduated from Millville High School and lived his entire life in Millville.
For 37 years he worked as a Foreman for Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville and retired in 1998.

Edward was a lifetime member of the Millville Elks Lodge, and was a ham radio operator.

He loved cats and dogs, especially his St. Bernards, and he enjoyed working in his yard. The beach and watching sports, especially the Flyers were a few of his favorite pastimes.

Edward will be sadly missed by his daughters, Barbara Adams of Vineland, Melinda Hallquist (Doug) of FL., and Jennifer Ferus of Mantua; two brothers, Robert Ferus (Winifred) and Brian Ferus (Karen); one sister Darla Jean Buono; two grandsons, Ryan Hallquist (Meghan) and Michael Hallquist (Annie); and two great grandchildren, Logan and Luke. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia (Schmidt) Ferus in 2020; and one brother Donald Ferus.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon on Monday, January 5, 2026 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
