Robert Dale Lambert Sr.

Robert Dale Lambert Sr., age 94, of Millville, NJ, departed this life on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicago, IL, Robert lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service.
Robert was a truck driver for Premier Oil in Millville, NJ, where he worked to provide for his family. His commitment to his work was matched by his dedication to his family and his country. Robert served in the United States Air Force, living out the values of honor and duty throughout his life. The loss of his brother, Fred, who died while returning home from military service in Germany, was a defining event that deeply impacted Robert's life.
Outside of work, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tending to his vegetable garden. He especially loved playing various sports with his children and treasured time spent with family. Robert found great joy in being with his children and their spouses, his 14 grandchildren, and his 17 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Etta Clara Lambert (née Howell), who stood by his side through all of life's journeys. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their children: Florence Van Embden (Phillip), Frederick J. Lambert (Judy), Theresa Sutton (Robert), Michael E. Lambert (Chris), and James J. Lambert (Teresa). He is also survived by his two half-sisters, Louise Lambert and Linda Lambert.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Florence Lambert, his brother Fred, and his son, Robert D. Lambert Jr., whom he now joins in eternal rest.
In accordance with Robert's wishes, a private cremation will be held. The family invites friends and loved ones to share their memories and condolences on Robert's tribute wall.
