Edward G. Fry, 80, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Ed was born March 10, 1943, and raised by the late Edward and Isabelle (Jach) Fry and Ivan Fry.  He was united in marriage on October 2, 1965, to Susan (Davis) at St. Mark Lutheran Church of Rhinelander, WI. They both chose to reside in Tomahawk, a town they loved. Ed’s employment included DeHart Mink Ranch, managed Highland Egg Farm and owned/operated E.F. Egg Distributing with his wife, HVAC at Schlising Sheet Metal, and finished employment prior to retirement at Bollech Electric.  He was passionate about the many businesses he served and met many people along the way. Everyone who knew Ed recognized how giving and warm-hearted he was.
Ed is further survived by his wife of 58 years, Susan Fry; two daughters, Tammy (Mark) Loka and Tarsie (Gary) Goes; a sister, Sharyn (Donald) Schlising; and a brother, Peter Fry. Ed was known as a staple at the Tomahawk Speedway for many years whether it was officiating or behind the wheel (#18). Though Ed loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, his favorite role was that as a grandpa. He treasured his time with his three grandchildren; Maegan Loka, Macey Loka and Kale Goes. Ed will always be remembered for all the heartfelt memories he made and the blessings he brought to our lives.
