Eddie, I was in Clearwater, Fla., watching a Phillies spring training game when I received news of your passing, and remember the guilt I felt for not being able to fly to Hawaii for your wake. I will forever miss your mischievous grin, witty Irish banter and fun-loving persona. You were the best of the best my man.

Fast Eddie, I think about you daily and intensely miss your chop-busting, sardonic sense of humor, not to mention your magical ability to turn each fresh beer into escalating insanity and raucous laughter. Dave, Bob and I toast you every time we get together. You are missed, dude. Go Hawks, and save us all seats at your new bar. Slainte! BTW, Marie is a saint.

I'm so sorry for your loss. As you experience anxiety during this difficult time, please turn to the Most High God for comfort as his word assures us at Jeremiah 29:12,13 "you will come and call and pray to me, and I will listen to you."
