He will be deeply missed by his sense of humor, laughter, and just his presence around his many family and friends. Ed also served his country as a proud veteran with the United States Coast Guard. He wore his veteran status like a badge of honor, and his commitment to service shone brightly in his volunteering efforts at the World Trade Center site on 9/11. His pride in both his service to his country and his dedication to helping others in the aftermath of such a tragedy was palpable. He loved to coach his daughters and their friends soccer teams with Weymouth Girls Soccer and was a former board member of Weymouth Girls Basketball.
