Edward Arthur Leo Lefebvre, 73, of Meriden, passed away at home on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was the loving husband of Judith A. (Bailey) Lefebvre of 50 years.
He was born in Cohoes, NY, a son of the late Philip Lefebvre Sr. and Ruth (LeClair) Lefebvre. Edward began his career at Home Meats Center in Meriden at the young age 15 years old. After many years of employment, Edward was able to assume ownership and continue to operate the store for many more years. As a Butcher, he also worked at Shoprite and Shaw's in Wallingford. He was a car enthusiast, his favorite vehicle being his canary yellow '67 Nova.
In addition to his wife Judith, he is survived by his daughters, Courtney Stone (Eric Stone), Robin Lefebvre, and Cara Lefebvre (Edward Copeland); his grandchildren, Riley Lefebvre, Chloe Lefebvre, Cody Reardon, Cheyanne Reardon, Sydnee Stone and Sawyer Stone; his sisters, Jacqueline Sita (Joseph Sita) and Julienne Custy (Timothy Custy); his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Carol Bailey, Evelyn and Douglas Monroe, Patricia and Jeff Karakoosh, Harry and Susan Bailey, Adam Podgorski, and Rich Schumann; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Virginia Schumann, Ruth Ann Podgorski, William Lefebvre, Louis Lefebvre, and Philip Lefebvre Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18th at 12pm, directly at Holy Angels Church, 585 Main St., South Meriden. Interment will be private.
