Edward L. Logsdon, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025.
He was born on June 9, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky to Virgil and Thelma (Benham) Logsdon. He is preceded in death by his Father, Virgil Edgar Logsdon, Mother, Thelma Dink Logsdon, loving Wife of 50 years, Gladys M. Logsdon, Daughter, Edwina L. Raines, Grandson, Jason Logsdon, and Brother, Jim Logsdon.
Edward is survived by his loving family, Children, Todd R. (Michele) Logsdon, Laura L. (Steve) Hulsman, and Lee E. (Tammy) Howard; Grandchildren, Holly, Heather, Brandie, Clayton, and Mavia; 11 Great-Grandchildren; Niece, Danielle Logsdon, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky on Monday September 8th, 2025 at 12:30pm.
A gathering meal will be immediately following the service on Saturday.
