Ronda Paddock Obituary

Ronda Lynn Paddock, aged 62, of Hardinsburg, Indiana, went home with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Her radiant spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.

Born on February 2, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky, Ronda was the cherished daughter of Rollin and Anna (Fields) Shaw. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Anna M. Bastin, and her father, Rollin Shaw. Ronda's family was her greatest joy, and she dedicated herself to being a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandma, and friend.

Throughout her life, Ronda found solace and strength in her faith, often spending her free moments in the pages of her Bible. Her love for cooking and baking brought happiness not only to her but also to those fortunate enough to enjoy her creations. Ronda had a genuine passion for the outdoors, relishing the beauty of nature while camping and spending time with her family. Halloween and Christmas were special occasions that she treasured, filled with laughter, love, and memories created alongside her loved ones.

An avid music lover, Ronda found joy in the melodies of Journey and the Bee Gees, often dancing along with an infectious energy that lit up any room. Her forgiving nature and selfless spirit endeared her to many, as did her sense of humor and kindness. Ronda was the type of person who would go out of her way to help anyone in need and always greeted others with open arms.

Ronda is survived by her devoted sons, Joseph (Melody) Davies and Stephen Ray Davies, as well as her beloved daughters, Amanda Nicole (Jacob) Paddock and Brittney Ann (Sasha) Paddock. Her grandchildren, Jayden, Kristin, Maverick, Ethan, and Zachary, brought immense joy to her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Ronda is also survived by her caring sister, Julie (Corey) Simons, and brother, Marcus Shaw, alongside numerous extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A visitation to honor Ronda’s life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, followed by a heartfelt celebration of her life at 6:00 p.m.

In this time of mourning, we invite all who knew Ronda to share their memories and messages for her family, ensuring that her beautiful legacy continues to resonate in the hearts of those she loved.

Ronda Lynn Paddock will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
