Edward J. Marcinczyk, 75, passed peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Robert Marcinczyk, Richard Marcinczyk & Michelle, Donna Kirby & Kevin, David Marcinczyk & Helen Enman, and Stanley P. Marcinczyk, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Alyssa Kirby & husband Ryan Johnson, Stanley Marcinczyk, Ian Kirby, and Jordan Marcinczyk; his aunt, Rita Dreslinski; numerous cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Son of the late Stanley & Clementina (Camerano) Marcinczyk, Eddie was born and raised in Clinton. He completed studies at Kingsley Hall School in Great Barrington, Notre Dame High School in Fitchburg, and Mount Wachusett Community College. A self-taught electrical genius, Eddie enjoyed a successful career as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer specializing in Radar and Marine Navigation Systems. He worked for many years with Compugraphic Corporation in Andover, later with Laser Plot in Auburn, and finally with GA International in Miami, from where he ultimately retired. Blessed with a brilliant mind, there was nothing Eddie was unable to repair. Among his many hobbies and interests, he was a Ham radio operator, stamp collector, extensive world traveler, electronics expert, and accomplished pilot. An avid skier, Eddie enjoyed numerous ski trips to Bormio, Italy, and in 2004 travelled to Rubbiano, Italy, for a cherished reunion with relatives and loved ones. Above all, he enjoyed time spent with family and was a fun-loving brother, uncle, and friend.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Edward J. Marcinczyk to a charity of one's choice.
