WORCESTER-Jane E. (Delorey) Rice, “Gram”, 83, of Worcester passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 11, 2026. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend Robert B. Rice and their dog Sandie, her mother Madalene (Kivlan) Delorey, and her sister Sandra Delorey.
She is survived by her three children, Bonnie Thibeault and her husband Robert of Spencer, Wendy Stanikmas and her husband Kevin of Oakham, and Steven Rice and his wife Gina of Worcester, seven grandchildren; Brian Thibeault, Michelle Thibeault, Jessica Boisvert and her husband Kenny, Michael Case and his wife Kim, Kimberly Doherty and her husband John, Heather Greene and her husband Michael, and Ashley Garduno and her husband Rolando, thirteen great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Caliyah, Jordan, Johnathan, Izabella, Riley, Joshua, Emelia, Allison, Kaelyn, Leonardo, Lauren, Santiago, as well as several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters; Martha Congdon, Karen Quinn, brothers; Paul, Joel, Philip, and Daniel Delorey, and a close friend, Barbara Reidy.
Jane graduated from North High School, Worcester, in 1960. Worked for the American Red Cross Association as a blood drive coordinator for several years and many years with the Girl Scouts of America. Bob and Jane owned and operated Rocky Brook Motel and Ice Cream Plus in Keene, NH for 16 years before retiring and moving back to the family home in Worcester, Ma. She loved camping with extended family and spending time with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always singing, painting, and enjoying life.

Visiting hours will be on Saturday March 21,2026 1pm-4pm at Callahan, Fay & Casswell Funeral Home 61 Myrtle St, Worcester, Ma
