Natalie I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that memories of your time with Ed as well as some of the crazier things we did at dog shows over the years will help dry a tear, ease the pain and hopefully put a smile on your face. Take care of yourself and the boys, God bless you, them and Ed.

I had Professor Masha for both of my freshman terms at Kettering, and only knew him for about 4 months. Within those 4 months, it became clear that he was one of the best math teachers I have ever had, regardless of the level of schooling. I have never come across someone who was so passionate about his subject like Professor Masha was. He was always eager to teach us and it seemed like he cared more about our success than we did at times. He was a great teacher and an even better person. I remember seeing him on Wednesday, February 9th, not knowing that that would be the last time I ever saw him again, and I really wish I had a chance to say goodbye. He will be greatly missed by many, and may he Rest In Peace.

Professor Masha was the first professor I ever met at Kettering University, I had his 102X class 8 am freshman year. From the beginning it was clear Professor Masha had an unwavering commitment to our learning and success. His passion for mathematics is second to none. Professor Masha was always there to help students and always kept us on our toes. He was always cracking jokes and finding ways to make our lectures the best they could. He will surely be missed by many.

Ed was beloved at Kettering, by students and faculty alike. I got to know Ed through our many discussions at the campus teaching center. His love for his students was evident in everything he said and did. I pray for peace for you all in this time.
