EDWARD J. MODRZEJEWSKI

1947 - 2023

Edward J. Modrzejewski, 75, of Blossburg, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. He was born on April 22, 1947, in Emsdentten, Germany, the son of John and Janet Modrezejewski.
Edward was married to Elaine "Liz" (Bennett) Modrzejewski and they would have celebrated 53 years of marriage on July 18, 2023.
He worked as a mechanic for Ward Manufacturing for 42 years and was a member of Holy Child Parish. Edward was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, Hillside Rod & Gun Club, and Arnot Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, four-wheeling, mowing the grass, rides in the sunshine, and playing with the grand-dogs.
Edward is survived by his wife; a son, Craig (Laurie) Modrzejewski of Mechanicsville, Md.; a daughter, Krista (Benjamin) Morley of Zionsville, Pa.; five grandchildren, Tyler, Jenna, Callie, Kate, and Luke; and his grand-dog, Stuart. He was preceded in death by two grand-dogs, Porter and Lincoln.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield. A memorial service will follow immediately at 4 p.m. with the Reverend Bryan Wright officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Morris Run, Pa.
