Edward William Moks

Edward William Moks, aged 82, of Gallatin, TN, passed away March 17th, 2023. Mr. Moks was born March 3rd, 1941, in Jamaica, NY to parents Ladislaus and Ladislas (Poniatowski) Moks. He married his first wife, Judith Lukowski, in April of 1966. They moved around a lot until they retired to Florida in the early 90s, before moving to Gallatin, TN in 2006, where they would build their own home together. The couple would stay married until Judith's passing on January 31st, 2019. After his first wife's passing he would go on to be married on his birthday to Ms. Gina Edris Daro on March 3rd, 2020, so that way he would not forget their anniversary.
Despite not remembering dates, Mr. Moks was a multitalented man who was a great cook, artist, and musician. Overall Mr. Moks was a fun guy who loved to sing and dance, and had a love of life. Most of all he loved his family and their three dogs: Henri, the Cavapoo, and Winston and Rosebud, the Cavachons.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ladislaus and Ladislas Moks, and his first wife, Judith (Lukowski) Moks. He is survived by his second wife, Gina (Daro) Moks, his daughter, Justine (Chris) Rathbun, and sister, Mary Ann Miotto.
A visitation will be held at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023 from 3pm until 7pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Thursday March 23rd, 2023, at 2pm with Father Richard Childress as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens.
