Edward Lawrence Morelli, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the age of 37. Cherished son of Clark and Denise Morelli; loving grandson of Lawrence & Nancy Grande and the late Edward & Darlene Morelli; dear brother of Emily (Kenneth) Lucarz and Jessica (Bradley) Lumia; treasured uncle of Tyler Lucarz, Zachary Lucarz and Dominic Lumia; nephew of Michael (Linda) Grande, Mark (Brenda) Grande, Michelle Grande, Glen (Carla) Morelli and Doreen Morelli; loving great-nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Edward Morelli was a proud Italian. He was a kind-hearted soul whose warmth and love left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Known for his generous spirit and unmistakable “Morelli smile,” Edward had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. His hugs were legendary—genuine, comforting, and full of heart. He was kind towards children, becoming a proud uncle not only to his own nephews, but an uncle figure to many others fortunate enough to know him.

Edward was a graduate of Fort Zumwalt West High School, Class of 2006. He was both athletic and passionate about sports. He loved playing baseball and football, and he was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees. His love for the game was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. Fishing at a quiet lake or wherever he could, he found peace and joy in nature.

Edward cherished time spent with his grandfathers, often sitting and talking with them for hours, soaking in their wisdom and companionship. He adored his nephews and was a deeply devoted family man, always putting loved ones first and bringing joy into their lives with his presence.

Edward was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for family will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to be part of his world.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Edward's name to Harris House Foundation, 2706 S River Road, St Charles Mo 63303
