Edward Orr Obituary
Eddie was a corporal in the Marines and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He graduated from Edinboro University and was a firefighter for the City of Erie for over 30 years, retiring in the mid 1990's. After retirement he was a rural mail carrier in the Fairview area.
He was an avid golfer making annual trips to Myrtle Beach and also golfing in Arizona and Florida. He played in leagues at Whispering Woods, Riverside, and even the Pittsburgh Area.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by infant siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Fidelis "Fil"(Willis) Orr; a daughter, Jillian "Jill" Orr"; a sister, Geraldine Kosko; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd. Services will be held there on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. followed by a funeral mass at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church. Burial will follow in Cambridge Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Responders Children's Foundation, 38 East 32nd Street, Suite 602
