Edward Paling Obituary
Edward F. Paling, age 87 of Norwich, CT, passed away on December 1, 2025 at his residence.
He was the husband of Frances (Medairos) Paling.
Born in Taunton, Edward was the son of the late Manuel and Candid (Dumont) Paling.
Ed was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Before retiring, he was employed with Home Depot for many years.
Besides his beloved wife Fran, Ed is survived by his children; Sherrylyn Rogers, Scott Stanley and wife Tammi, Christopher Stanley and wife Jessica, sisters; Joan Dupont, Geraldine Paling, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Ed was the father of the late Anita Boulter and the brother of the late Robert Paling and James Paling.
Visitation will be held on SATURDAY, December 13, 2025 from 1 to 3pm with a funeral home service at 3pm in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton.
Interment will be held privately.
