Edward Wayne Palmer was born on January 5, 1963, in Wabash, Indiana, to the late Clyde Kirk Palmer and Wanda Lee Palmer. He had a profound love for reading and was a self-taught technology enthusiast. His passion led him to build and work on computers, which became his career alongside his role as a bail bondsman. Edward was especially proud of his service as a soldier in the United States Army, earning the Sharpshooter award during his time stationed at the Deland National Guard post. Ed was blessed with a large, loving family. He was married to his best friend and the love of his life for 38 years, Kimberly Renee Palmer. A pillar of strength, he raised his three children with values of honesty, loyalty, and empathy for others. He is survived by his daughter, Kristina Dial (husband Matthew Dial), his son Edward Wayne Palmer II (wife Jessica Palmer), and his youngest son Kenneth Daniel Palmer (wife LeiAnn Palmer). Known affectionately as "Poppy, " he cherished his seven grandchildren: Kaycee, Emma, Kaleb, Jaxon, Julie, Layla, and Jase. As the oldest sibling, he leaves behind his brother Tim and sisters April and Brandy. Ed was a man of few words, but when he spoke, people listened. He was a kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold. His love for his grandchildren was evident, and he enjoyed caring for them. You could always tell when Ed entered a room; his passion for music was contagious, often whistling along to the beat of his music as he drove his truck. Poppy definitely left this world too soon, but he will always be seen in the hearts of his children and grandchildren for years to come. You are already missed, Daddy. We love you!!
