Edward PASZEK Obituary
Of Appleton, NY husband of Diane Russell Paszek entered into rest on April 5, 2023 at home. He was born in Lackawanna, NY on November 14, 1945, son of the late Joseph Paszek and Bertha Juda Paszek. Ed retired from GM after 30 years as a tool and die maker. He enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, woodworking, his gym friends, gardening, fishing and he loved his grandchildren dearly. Father of Lynn Paszek, Jill (Joel) Harrod and Kami (Rosario Indelicato) Paszek. Brother of Ronald (Charlotte) Paszek and James Paszek. Grandfather of Skylar, Madelyn, Benjamin and Samuel. No prior visitation. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Dear Diane and Jill and family,
It is with sorrow that I extend to you my sympathies to all of you at this time. I worked with Ed at the plant. I would sometimes have to call for a tool and die maker to get a machine up and going again and sometimes Ed was called out to do the job. We could rely on his knowledge of the equipment and his expertise. Then I often would see him as I would be working on the church lawn at West Somerset and we sometimes would stop and talk or just wave. I will miss those times.
My wife Cathy passed nearly three years ago now and even though we sometime struggled in our relationship [as all of us do if we are honest]I soon found out that there were many other times that were precious for both of us. You will struggle for a while in trying to sore it all out. But just remember to treasure the good memories and leave the unpleasant ones behind. You wont regret that.
