Edward C. Peris of Binghamton passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord on July 25, 2025 five days before his 100th birthday. He was predeceased by his first wife Teresa, and son Richard. He was also predeceased by his second wife Melinda, stepdaughters Sylvia and Betsy, and stepsons Tracy and Ralph. He is survived by his daughter Sharon and daughter in law Diane. He is also survived by his stepdaughters Carol, Donna, Colleen and Mindy. Stepsons Bill and Frank. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great, great grandsons, twenty-five step grandchildren, too many step great to count, several great, great step grandchildren, one great, great, great step granddaughter. Edward served in the Army in World War Il and received a purple heart. For many years he was a very active member of St Anthony of Padua Church where he served as Eucharistic Minister and a Confirmation Class Leader. He was also part of the RCIA Program which guides individuals to become Catholic. He enjoyed playing guitar and gathering around the kitchen table with other family members and their instruments. They would play and sing for hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
