Edward Walter Planche, age 36 of Arlington, Texas was received by the Lord suddenly, but peacefully on July 3, 2012. He was born on July 17, 1975 in Arlington, Texas to his parents, Edward and Angela Planche, Jr. Edward married his soul mate Janis Putnam in Arlington, Texas on July 15, 2000. They had 2 beautiful boys. He attended St. Maria Goretti, Nolan and Martin High Schools and graduated in 1993. He graduated from UTA and worked for the last two years at Starrett Elementary in AISD as a math instructor. Edward was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Phi Delta Theta. He enjoyed playing golf and soccer the most. He loved coaching his son Zach in soccer. He excelled at everything he played and people enjoyed watching him as he was an incredible athlete and competitor. He loved being outdoors and hunting with his loved ones. Edward was an amazing man and touched the lives of so many people. Edward will be remembered by his loving wife and their two sons Zach, 9 and Cody, 2. He is also survived by his "Nonna" Amelia Chase, his mother and father Edward and Angela Planche, Jr., his sister and brother-in-law Ryan and Jennifer Planche Myers, their children Dylan, Kelsey, Logan and Rhett, his sister and brother-in-law Ben and Angela Planche Clark, and their children Bailey, Matthew, Addison and London. They will miss their "Unc." He was predeceased in death by his maternal grandfather Walter Fremont Chase and his paternal grandparents Rev. Edward and Billie Planche, Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral Mass for Edward at 11:30 on Monday, July 9 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5819 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd, Arlington, TX 76016. A memorial reception will follow at St. Vincent de Paul.
