Edward E. Raffaeli, 85, of Sterling, CO passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1162 North 8th Street, Sterling, CO. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery.
Edward was born August 9, 1940, to Mike Raffaeli Sr. and Mary (Zier) Raffaeli. He grew up in the Padroni area graduating from Padroni High School. Edward married Earla Mae Lambert on January 8, 1960, in Pocatello, Idaho. They were married 59 years before her passing in 2019. Together they raised their family in Merino and Padroni. Both loved the farm life with their children Lisa, Nick, Jeff, and David. They enjoyed many wonderful vacations together.
Ed had three priorities in life his faith, his family, and his work. Of the three the worship and serving his God, Jehovah was always first.
He is preceded in death by his wife Earla Mae Raffaeli; brothers Anthony, Lawrence, Mike Jr, Romeo and sisters Eleanor Robers, Mary Battachio and Virginia Mattarocci, along with his great granddaughter Talia Mae Thompson.
Edward is survived by his children Lisa (Dave) Kaiser, Nick (Karla) Raffaeli, Jeff (Garrilee) Raffaeli and David (Shelly) Raffaeli; grandchildren Erich Kaiser, Kellan Raffaeli, Nickole Lindemann, Jeffrey Raffaeli, Michal Raffaeli, Andrealle Stewart, Jade Bayne and Lynzey Thompson and their families; his sisters Paula Marostica and Patricia Raffaeli and brothers Tony, Frank, Richard, Pete and Tom.
