The family of Edward William Rhein, 68, of Dallas, GA sadly announce his passing on July 1, 2024.
Ed was born in Evanston, IL on August 29, 1955 and is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Rhein. Together they were blessed with three children Robert, Katheryn, Jennifer and their seven grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents James Rhein and Edna (Powers) Rhein. Also surviving him are his eight brothers and sisters. Margie, Jim, Jan, Diane, Mark, Chris, Ellen, and Matt.
Ed loved Jesus and it was his passion to spread the good news of the gospel to all he encountered. Because of his faith and what the Lord has promised, we know he is now rejoicing with his Heavenly Father. "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV
There will be a Celebration of Life service on July 20, 2024 starting at 11:00am at Grace Community Church located at 770 Kennesaw Avenue, Marietta, GA.

July 8, 2024

As young kids we spent a lot of time together. When we moved to Florida in the 70's, Ed and his mom came to visit us. We travelled to Disney World and had the best time. It is a very fond memory. I think of him often.
