Schaedel – Edward John Schaedel, Jr., age 59, passed away on December 5, 2025. He was born on July 24, 1966, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Edward John and Carolyn Schaedel. A man of Baptist faith and deep family values, Edward found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was known for his love of fishing. It was one of his favorite ways to relax and connect with nature. Edward also enjoyed junking and scraping, always finding value and purpose in what others might overlook. He was a dedicated family man who cherished time spent with loved ones. In addition to his personal passions, Edward gave back to his community through volunteer service at the Fire Department of Oceanway #35. His commitment to helping others extended beyond words into meaningful action that left a lasting impact. Edward was a true treasure and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Paul Schaedel.

Edward leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Margaret Schaedel; daughters, Victoria Carpenter, Angelia Gates; grandchildren, Katie Tanner, Gracie Carpenter, Joshua Carpenter, Kaela Gates, Malonia Schaedel; great grandchildren, Greyson Tanner and Ameila Tanner.
