Edward Shepard Sr. Obituary
Ed was born on May 15, 1946, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Minnie Fountain Shepard; brother, B.J. Shepard; sister-in-law, Dot Shepard; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Bill Birch; and brothers, Johnny Shepard and Graham Shepard. Ed was a veteran of the United States National Guard and retired as the Georgia District Sales Manager for UPS. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Shepard; children, Edward Lee Shepard, Jr. and Tony Shepard (Fonda); daughter, Cynthia Stewart; grandchildren, Jacob Shepard (Clare), Caleb Shepard (Jordan), and Indie Grace; great-grandchild, Jonah Shepard; sisters, Peggy Young O'Neal (Ed) and Hilda Harrell; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at New Salem Baptist Church. A service will follow in the sanctuary, officiated by Pastor Mike Barnes and Pastor Grady Caldwell.
