Edward Webb III. Obituary
Edward Gill Webb III., 60, of Petersburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 30, 1963. Gill was preceded in death by his loving mother, Emma “Jeannine” Webb; his older brother, Richard “Ricky” Lee Becker; and his father, E.G Webb Jr. He graduated from Petersburg High in 1981. Gill was an avid music lover, he lived for music and Football. He was a huge Florida State and 49ers fan. He worked for Ed Pruett for many years and enjoyed his time working for him. Gill is survived by his best friend and brother, Rodney F. Webb; his stepmother, Audrey Webb; his stepbrother, Robert Leonard and his wife, Amie Leonard; and many cousins. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
