Edwin Carrender Obituary

Edwin L. "Eddie" Carrender, 58, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly at his home. He was born March 21, 1966, in New Castle to Darryl R. and Barbara I. (Burke) Carrender, who survive.

A 1984 graduate of Blue River Valley High School, he was employed for over 20 years by the United Parcel Service as a delivery driver. As an entertainer, he enjoyed playing guitar. He also studied the Bible often and was a believer.

He is survived by his parents, Darryl R. and Barbara Carrender of Mt. Summit; a daughter, Grace Carrender; a brother, Eric (Cindy) Carrender of Knightstown; two sisters, Lisla (Alan) Taylor of Spiceland, and Isabell Irene; nephews, Brad (Hali) Carrender and Brandon (Morgan) Carrender; great niece and nephews, Braden, Berkley, Claire and Weston.

He was preceded in death by a niece, Abi Baldwin.

Services will be private for the family with burial at Circle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the The Guest House Men's Shelter, 1407 Walnut St., New Castle, IN 47362. You may share condolences and memories of Eddie at www.hinsey-brown.com
