Edwin Carroll Drury

Edwin Carroll Drury 76 passed away peacefully at his residence June 2, 2023. He was born in Anderson County on July 31. 1946 to the late J C and Leavie May Leathers Drury.
He was a Truck Driver for thirty-six years. He loved to fish and go hunting and watching U K Basketball.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Winkle Drury, a daughter Missy (Buzz) Evans, Lexington, Ky two sons, Eddie (Lisa) Drury, Versailles, Ky, and James Lillard (Christy) Drury Lawrenceburg, Ky and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters Shirley (Warren) Ivey, Lexington, Ky, Patsy (Kevin) Satterly. Lawrenceburg, Ky and Janet Blissard, Lawrenceburg, Ky, with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sons, David Drury, and Danny Drury, three brothers, J W Drury, Willis Eugene 'Billy 'Drury and Wendell Keith Drury, three sisters, Glenda Joyce Hatchett, Wilma Faye Adams, and Rita Kay Hopper.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Saffell House Funeral Home with Bro. Al Peach officiating with burial following in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday June 6, 2023 from 5 – 8 p.m..
Pallbearers are, Donnie Shearer, Eddie Drury, James Lillard Drury, Kevin Mitchell, Michael Drury, Richard Wright, and Stevie Drury. Honorary bearers are David Drury, Danny Drury and Bill Walker. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
