Delton
Edwin Bernard Eifler, age 91 of Delton, passed away on January 10, 2023. Edwin was born on February 7, 1931 in Battle Creek, the son of Bertrand and Maxine (Stanley) Eifler. Edwin proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked on the causeway for the Mackinac Bridge in St. Ignace and on the Cut River Bridge in Naubinway. He was later employed by GM as a machinist twenty seven and a half years and was a UAW member. In his free time, Edwin enjoyed fishing, boating, smelt dipping, hunting, and mushrooming. Edwin is survived by his wife, Jeralee (Barber) Eifler; children: Edwin C. (Pat) Eifler, Sue (Bob) Searles; grandchildren: Shontel, Eddie, Anthony, Bobby; great grandchildren: Payton, Charlie, Connor; sister, Elaine (Nathan) Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Eilene Duncan; brothers, Chuck Eifler, and Jerry Eifler. According to Edwin's wishes, no services are planned at this time.
