Mr. Edwin Laurenza Hardee, Jr., 54, resident of Denton, died March 25, 2025 at SECU Hospice Care in Yadkinville.
He was born February 17, 1971 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, a son to Edwin Hardee Sr. and Eulavee Martin Hardee. As a resident of the Trinity area most of his life, he worked many years as a welder, both for himself and several different companies. Edwin enjoyed fishing, vintage collecting, and especially playing "Monopoly Go." More than all, he loved his family and his precious grandsons. In 1995 he married the former Julie Fulp, who survives of the residence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eulavee M. Hardee; and two grandsons, Ayden and Edwin.
Also surviving is his son, Christopher Mullis (Caitlin) of Trinity; daughter, Jordan Hardee of Thomasville; sister, Terri Carpenter (Mike) of Denton; four grandsons, Leelin, Gannon, Branson and Caysen; aunt and uncle, Debora and Benny Martin of Thomasville; and many nieces and nephews he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church at 7987 NC Hwy.109 in Thomasville with Pastor Jack Hurley officiating.
