Edwin Paul Jungnitsch Hemlock, Michigan
Passed away April 14, 2020, at the Rivera Palms Rehabilitation Center, Palmetto, Florida of Covid 19. Age 78 years.
The son of the late Stephen Jungnitsch and Margaret (Marzluft) Jungnitsch was born May 2, 1941, in Saginaw County. He married Kathryn Dommer on December 9, 1961. Kathryn died July 20, 2024. He was a 30-year member of the Teamsters and a lifelong farmer. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Hemlock. He enjoyed spending time in the woods, cutting wood, deer hunting and traveling.
Surviving are two children, Jennifer (James Preston) Jungnitsch and John (Stephanie Bush) Jungnitsch; two grandsons, Daniel (Josie) Anderson and Justin Jungnitsch; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marlene Flinn, Salt Lake City, UT and Barbara and Nick Shields, Hemlock, MI; a sister-in-law, Carolyn (Floyd) McKinney, Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews. An infant son and a brother-in-law, Floyd Flinn have preceded him in death.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Kathryn and Edwin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 2290 Pretzer Rd, Hemlock, MI 48626, where friends may gather with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Rev. Phillip Loescher will officiate the service. Following the service Kathryn and Edwin will be interred together in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, General Fund, 2290 Pretzer Rd. Hemlock, MI 48626.
